Proteins are essential to our system. An adult needs about 10 ounces of protein daily for proper body function. These 6 foods are protein foods to be considered in your daily diet because you can get the essential amino acids you need from eating this food. Here are the 6 foods that are rich in protein.



Beans


Beans are a great source of protein and they are less expensive. Though all beans are rich in protein, research has it that white beans contain a higher amount of protein than the rest, with an amount of 17.42 grams in 1 cup. Beans are not just source of protein, but they also provide the body with B vitamins, iron, potassium and soluble fiber(which helps in controlling blood cholesterol levels).



Egg


The egg is rich in protein, they provide the body with complete protein. The white part contains more protein than the yolk. Though Egg yolks contain almost all another nutrient including calcium, iron, phosphorus, folate, pantothenic acid, zinc, thiamine, vitamin B6, B12, A, D, E, and K, the white contains vitamin B2 and a little amount of fat and cholesterol.



Fish


Fish is a good dietary source of animal protein because it gives a healthy amount of protein, though the amount of proteins in fish varies depending on the type. Fish is also filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D and B2(riboflavin). Apart from proteins they also contain minerals like zinc, iron, iodine, potassium, and magnesium.



Pork Tenderloin


Pork tenderloin or pork fillet as it is also called is a good source of protein. Tenderloin is the major muscle along the central spine portion, which is the most tender part of the animal, these muscles are used for posture, rather than movement. Tenderloin can be used as one of the main sources of protein in diets as it contains a very low amount calories.




Oat

Oat is a composition of balanced nutrients, it contains a larger amount of protein than most grains. They also are a good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which inhibit oxidation and protect cells from damage. Adding oats to diet gives a good amount of protein, though the more processed oats the has less protein. Eating oat will boost the function of your immune system because of its rich fiber and a great source of protein.



Almond


Almond are seeds from the fruit taking from the almond tree. Almonds are good nutritious food that is rich in protein, they are not only rich in protein, they also a good source of fiber and high healthy monounsaturated fat. A single almond seed contains about 0.25 grams of protein. Eating will provide your body with protein, boost your immune system, and also help reduce bad cholesterol in the blood.



Though plant proteins are better than animal protein, the regular taking of these 6 foods that are rich in protein will help provide an adequate amount of protein your body for proper function.
